RIPPLEVALE GROVE, N1
A retired ambassador and his wife decided that it was time to remodel a
rather charmless sixties extension on the back of their pretty
double-fronted house in Islington before they moved back into it for good.
We managed to camouflage the worst of the structural steelwork with some
new bookcasery that looked reasonably Early-Victorian and reconfigured
the windows so the room enjoyed a good deal more light. This made a
better connection with an extremely pretty garden. |
