This mews house in South Kensington was proving to be too much of a luxury as a five-nights-a -year pied-a-terre especially as the Royal Yacht club is so comfortable. After two attempts we were able to negotiate planning consent for an attic bathroom and third bedroom and to extend forwards enough to permit a southerly view of Old Brompton Road. It is a far more attractive letting proposition as a result.
