Our clients no longer needed to let both the lower floors of this handsome
house in Chiswick, so we re-colonised the ground floor and reinstated the
main rooms. The adjoining owner was incandescent with fury that we had
managed to obtain planning consent for a garden room at ground floor level,
and, in mitigation we agreed to build a garden party wall twelve feet high
which we would never otherwise have been allowed. |
